Message	a meter. Perhaps the relay that controls turning off the low beams and turning on the high beams is sticking? - just a guess. I'd pull the wiring diagram and probe out with a meter. Another thing to try would be to just touch the relay mentioned above and see if it's clicking each time the column switch is moved? Others may have some add'l advice?
